Blair Evans Director

Our Director is an instructor in Digital Fabrication with the Fab Academy and trains personnel starting new Fab Labs in the international network. In addition to work in the built environment he has deep experience in the natural environment - a certified Permaculturist and Permaculture instructor. He has innovated important sustainable business models for community based production and community production in place-based education combining competitive fee-for-service activities with public and private sector stakeholders.

Mr. Evans received his initial formal education at MIT in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and System Dynamics. Blair is also engaged in extensive ongoing training in technology, planning, and business development. Mr. Evans is also the founder and Superintendent of Blanche Kelso Bruce Academy which collaborates with Incite Focus for effective youth programming.




Eric Reed Project Administrator

Eric Reed is the Project Administrator for Incite Focus. He joined Incite Focus in January 2014 after 12 years as an employee with Wayne County. Eric served in various administrative capacities during his tenure with the county, including Project Director (2001 – 2004); Director of Prevention Services (2004 – 2011); and Deputy Director of Juvenile Services (2011 – 2013). Prior to his Wayne County employment, Eric worked nine years at Starr Commonwealth-Detroit, serving six years as a juvenile justice and foster care counselor, and three years as Program Supervisor of the organization’s Treatment Foster Care and Supervised Independent Living programs.

Eric serves on advisory boards and committees for several youth-focused initiatives, including: the Wayne County Child Advocacy Center; the Wayne County Fatherhood Committee; State of Michigan Race Equity Committee, and the National Black Child Development Institute. Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Communications) from Central Michigan University in 1988 and a Masters Degree (Administration) from Wayne State University in 1999.


Coleman Jordan Architect

In addition to architectural support with Incite Focus, Coleman is the Principal and Co-founder of Corners – and interdisciplinary organization that works towards social justice in the built environment. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from the School of Architecture from Ohio State University and a Masters degree in Architecture from Clemson University. He has a vast teaching background that spans the fields of urban planning to architecture and design. He currently is an Associate Professor of Architecture at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario.
